Pink Angel

It’s Saturday, the day to show off something pink along with Beverly from How Sweet the Sound! There is a big list of participants showing all sorts of nifty pink things: china, decorations, buildings, cars, anything they see or own that is pink, so stop on over and check it out!

This week I am sharing my sister’s vintage angel ornament from Christmas 1969. She is in pretty good shape, considering how we loved to play with them! You’ll be seeing mine on Blue Monday, BTW. She is made of 2 satin-covered balls stuck together, and her hair is very soft. I love her sexy eyes and kissy lips, don’t you?

  1. I’m really enjoying all of your Christmas posts, Elizabeth. This angel looks familiar. I think I have a similar ornament — not an angel but something with the same eyes and made out of satin balls. I have to go look. Oh and I didn’t realize that was you in that one picture with long hair. You look like a teenager. 🙂

  2. This is so beautiful!
We both posted about childhood ornaments…and isn’t it amazing how well they are able to survive all the Christmases?

Thanks so much for stopping by…I entered the book giveaway too! 🙂
