My Anti-Bucket List

Posted October 29, 2015 by Elizabeth in Beyond the Books, discussion/ 10 Comments

woman-jailKaren gave us a really original theme for this week’s Beyond the Books, an Anti-Bucket List, things we definitely hope to never do before we die or never do again. I can’t think of any biggies, but I have a few small things I don’t want to deal with again or ever.

Go to jail/get arrested. Never have been, never want to.

Everything else are things that I’ve experienced and didn’t like at all.

pondWalk barefoot in a pond with a sucking, slimy bottom.

Smash a big bug that splats green all over the place.

Live with a roommate.

Get explosively pooped on while changing a diaper.

These are all pretty self-explanatory, I think.  What about you? Anything you never want to experience again?  Do you have an anti-bucket list of your own?

  1. I remember the poop explosions. Luckily nothing as bad as you must have experienced. I hate being vomitted on, but I imagine that isn’t over yet . . . The pond you described. Ick! I can just imagine. That would be horrible. I wouldn’t want to do any of the things you talk about either. Great list!

  2. This is such a fun topic this week! I don’t really have a list but I can certainly agree with those! Especially that last one- good grief. Although it’s almost happened… 🙂

I agree about the sucking slimy ponds. Was exploring some coastal areas once and it was like that, it got kinda nasty. Not fun (well it was, excep for the sliminess). 🙂
